Dentalum expands further and commences a collaboration with Araz Borna through the acquisition of NOVO DENTAL in Sundbyberg. Dentalum thereby consists of 27 clinics in nine regions in Sweden. Including this acquisition, and previously communicated but not yet completed acquisitions, Dentalum’s pro forma[1] revenue amounts to approx. 422 MSEK with an EBITDA of approx. 111 MSEK.

On August 31 2022, Dentalum commences its partnership with Araz Borna and his team at NOVO DENTAL. The clinic is centrally located in Sundbyberg and has a broad and vast experience in dentistry, with a focus on general dentistry, aesthetics and cosmetic dentistry, surgery, implant treatments and orthodontics with Invisalign.

”I came in contact with Dentalum already in 2019 and we have been following each other’s developments since and have always had constructive meetings. The clinic has had a stabile progression since inception in 2016. As we have grown, the decision to sell and thus become part of something bigger has felt like a natural next step. Dentalum is making an exciting journey and has a stable organization with the right values. It therefore feels fantastic to become a part of Dentalum and I am very much looking forward to share best practice and learn more from driven and competent colleagues within the group”, says Araz Borna, founder of NOVO DENTAL.

”It feels incredibly exciting to finally welcome Araz and his staff to Dentalum. Araz is a fantastic person who is meticulous in his work and very driven. We had the pleasure of getting to know each other early on in our journey and have followed NOVO DENTAL’s impressive development since then, which is why it feels even more exciting that we are now ready to start a long-awaited collaboration this fall with Araz and his talented employees. We look forward to carrying on the already strong and well-proven business concept together with NOVO DENTAL”, says Dentalum’s CEO Max Dorthé Ladow.
